In 1984 JM World Orchestra brought together outstanding young musicians in New Orleans (US) at the "Louisiana World Exposition", for a performance under the Mexican conductor Eduardo Mata, assisted by Kirk Trevor. Performances: New Orleans Artistic director: A. Monast (Canada) The JM World Orchestra brought together musicians from 21 countries in 1984.

Eduardo Mata

Eduardo Mata (1942–1995) was a Mexican conductor and composer who gained international recognition for his dynamic leadership and broad repertoire. He served as music director of the Dallas Symphony Orchestra from 1977 to 1993, greatly strengthening its artistic reputation through recordings and international tours. Mata also played a major role in promoting Latin American music and conducted regularly with major orchestras in Europe and the Americas.
